Michael Avirom graduated with a Business Administration degree from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in 1973. He worked for a large surveying firm for a number of years and became a Florida registered surveyor in 1979. Michael launched his own company in 1981 and his surveying expertise in boundary, aerial control, topography, bathymetric and construction layout distinguished him as a respected professional in the industry. His business acumen has created the successful firm that Avirom & Associates is today. Michael is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
Eric Breaux graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from Nicholls State University in 1982. His surveying career began in his native state of Louisiana and he started working for Avirom & Associates in 1987. He became a Florida registered surveyor in 1999. As a Project Surveyor and field crew supervisor, he was responsible for the calculation and layout of over two thousand pilings at the Beach Tower in Atlantis, Paradise Island, Bahamas. He is currently responsible for construction surveying, boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Eric is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
Keith Chee-A-Tow had eighteen years of survey experience in the Bahamas while working for his father’s firm, Chee-A-Tow & Co., Ltd. He moved to Florida in April of 1989 and has been employed by Avirom & Associates since. He became a Florida registered surveyor in January of 1994. Keith is responsible for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, hydrographic surveys, GPS surveys, aerial mapping and expert witness testimony. He is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors, National Society of Professional Land Surveyors and National Society of Geographic and Land Information Systems.
John Doogan had twenty four years of survey experience prior to joining Avirom & Associates in 1999. He has been a Florida registered surveyor since July of 1987 and became certified in Geographic Information System from Florida Atlantic University (FAU) in June of 2003. He is currently responsible for boundary surveys, topographic surveys, GPS surveys and expert witness testimony. John is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
David Howe graduated with a Engineering Technician Degree from KAW Technical School in Topeka, Kansas in 1982. His managerial and survey experience extends over 30 years, which includes all aspects of land surveying including boundary, aerial control, topography and construction. Dave has also been able to utilize his experience in a supervisory position within the heavy construction development field, including and not limited to land development, roads, golf courses and special design projects for parks and recreation.
Marisha Kreitman began working for Avirom & Associates as a draftsperson in 1994. She advanced herself to become a Survey Technician while attending classes at Florida Atlantic University (FAU). In 2005, she graduated Magna Cum Laude from FAU with a degree in Geography: Geographic Information System. Marisha became a Florida Registered Surveyor in July of 2006. She is responsible for boundary surveys and topographic surveys. Marisha is a member of the Florida Society of Professional Land Surveyors.
